Personally, I regard X as an unredeemable cesspit, so dropping it is fine with me.

Hi All,

We started posting to twitter, now x.com in August 2008, and we
      have 976 Followers. I would like to suggest we stop actively
      posting there as the impact of the site has diminished.

While there probably was a time it was the place to be, my
      feeling has been for some time that we get no engagement there. 

Recently they did an update which provides statistics on shows,
      showing:

Impressions


Times this post was seen on X



Engagements


Total number of times a user has interacted with a post. This includes all clicks anywhere on the post (including hashtags, links, avatar, username, and post expansion), reposts, replies, follows, and likes.



Checking the last few months, the Impressions metric for any
      given show hovers around the 30 mark, and has only peaked when
      there are click bait ;-) tag words in there.

The Engagements on *all* episodes is 2 - both result from
      me boosting and responding, which I do to get around the limit on
      posting text.

There are about 4 shows where the Engagement jumps to 4, and
      usually where the host also has also boosted it.

Given the lack of engagement, I would like to relegate
      Twitter/X.com to the same status as Facebook and Linkedin. On
      these platforms we actively monitor and engage with people if they
      contact us, but do not post daily updates. We occasionally will
      post about the site been down or the New Year Show etc.
